LIST OF THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Basic Documents
- Original passport and it's colour copy with 6 months' validity beyond the validity of the visa, (for double-entry visas, your passport should be valid for at least 9 months). Minimum two blank pages should be available for stamping the visa
- Copy of a Residence permit and it's colour copy for non-Singaporean passport holders (EP, PR, DP, S-Pass);
- Foreign passport holders with a place of birth in China or once a China citizen shall provide one of the following documents: Copy of a former Chinese passport;
- Previous visas to China. Copy of previous visas to China if they were stamped in a different/old passport;
- Completed in PDF Format, Printed out, Signed by hand Visa Application Form.Note:The Chinese Embassy does not accept application form completed in handwriting. Аmendments by hand are not allowed. - If the passport with previous Chinese visas was issued on a different name, official document showing name change;
- Colour photo (3.3 cm x 4.8 cm) recently-taken, bare-head, full face, against a light background

Supporting Documents
- An onward air (train or ship) ticket with confirmed date and seat to the destination country or region.
- Crew members who come to China to board vessel should provide an original copy of "Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit" or "Confirmation Letter of Invitation" issued by an authorized unit in China (an "Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit" or "Confirmation Letter of Invitation" refers to the document issued by the Chinese government department, companies and social organizations, authorized by the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
